Compensation: $15- $20/hour depending on the location, plus pro-rata share of our BOH Fee
Job Status: This position is part-time and requires working a minimum of 24-30 hours per week. Some weekend availability is required depending on the restaurant(s) need(s), and your experience, at the time your application is received.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a passionate and highly motivated Food Preparation, Dishwashing, and Food Porter to join our dynamic Back of House (BOH) team. Previous experience doing food preparation is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Being organized and having the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time are required. You will be pivoting between the dishwashing, food preparation stations, and storage areas, so staying organized and on task is critical to be successful in this role.
- Ability to chop, prepare, and cook various food items.
- Ability to work with knives, robo-coupes, dough mixers, food processors, among other tools, to complete various tasks at any given time.
- Leading/assisting in putting away food orders in accordance with our food/dry goods storage plan.
- Proper handling of food and knowledge of the local health codes in required.
- Understand and abide by all federal, state and local food safety and sanitation regulations, including state required food handlers certificates.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent vocational training with job related courses is preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Setting up/breaking/restocking of all food stations.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of food safety procedures, rules and regulations is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
